$tack Mill$… This unique name is for a unique artist. $tack Mill$ was born on April 12, 1981 in Prince George's County, Maryland. He is one of five children and was always considered the black sheep of the family. But even back in the bible days, the black sheep family member was always the one that saved the day. $tack Mill$ grew up in Liberia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, New York, and Georgia. Georgia has basically become home. $tack Mill$ has always believed that he was born with the Heart of a Hustler. His music is his life, a blunt and sometimes harsh picture of his reality. For the past few years, he has been following up on his dreams in the music industry. He is devising a plan that will enable him do exactly what his name says… $tack Mill$ ($tack million$). His style of music mixes both Northern and Southern culture and swagger. $tack Mill$ writes rap, as well as R&B songs. He started as a battle rapper in 1998, until his mentor Tyrone Jones (Koliano) taught him how to use his skills for songwriting. Koliano took $tack Mill$ on tour with him to show him the lifestyle of a busy artist. He learned the business side of the music industry through his mentor, Koliano. $tack Mill$ won several open mic competitions and talent showcases in Georgia at such places as: The Apache Club, Black Lion Cafe, Havanna Club, Club Frequency, The Royal Peacock, The Crow's Nest, J's Place, and The Atrium just to name a few. $tack Mill$ has been writing songs since he was 20 years old. He was in a group deal with Renegade Records in 2003. $tack Mill$ says he is not influenced by other artists, but by his life’s experiences.
