Hippy SOUL is an independent hip hop duo based in Memphis, TN. With a sound reminiscent and influenced by musical greats, Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest; Hippy SOUL brings an energy and charisma to their music that makes their sound uniquely different from both their influences and musical counterparts.
The group, which has had several lineup changes since its inception; consists of founding members, Idi Aah Que and Teco, who first met while in High School. The two bonded in English class, after an assignment that required them to write poems and recite them aloud in class. After recognizing their shared love and skill for writing, they formed the short lived group Y.S.M (Young, Smart and Motivated) which would eventually lead to the formation of Hippy SOUL Hippy SOUL began to seriously pursue music after their high school graduation in 2012. While working on their debut mixtape the duo began to perform around the city at open mics and various hip hop shows. Their infectious lyricism and high energy performances quickly established Hippy SOUL as crowd favorites.
Hippy SOUL dropped their debut mixtape, The Pursuit, in 2013 which featured a collaboration with nationally signed CMG artist, Zed Zilla, on a song entitled “This Be”. In August of 2013, Hippy SOUL won first place in the Coast 2 Coast Live Event: Memphis Edition and with it a chance to perform at the Coast 2 Coast Convention in Miami, FL. Bolstered by the fan reception to their debut mixtape, the duo decided to start work on a second project to capitalize off their momentum and introduce new fans to their distinctive style. Their second release, The Itis EP, dropped January 2014 and was very well received by their fans and supporters. Never ones to rest, the group has major plans in store for the remainder of the year and 2015. As they constantly work to increase their skills and innovate their delivery and performance, Hippy SOUL will continue to be forerunners of hip hop’s everchanging landscape.

Sick Wit It Villians release a new duo album called "Dem Whyte Boyz" featuring B.A.M.A and CWhite on their newly lauched website www.swivillians.com This is one of the visuals for a single from this project which is directed by the label's CEO Cali Swagger while filmed and edited by Relly Rale Films. This was a big project for Relly Rale Films who recently upgraded his equipment to a higher end Nikon DSLR. Both Relly Rale Films and Sick Wit It Villians have produced 23 music videos together and plan to do much more in this new upcoming year. Tipton County TN Rap Artist Young.B Mr.901 Supports #JUSTICEFORMIKEBROWN #BLACKLIVESMATTER #GMG
On August 9th 2014, when the officer approached Mr Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson as they walk down the middle of the street. After Officer Wilson suggested Mr Brown & his friend to move to the pavement, words were exchanged. The pair carried on walking down the middle of the street, as the 2 passed, Officer Wilson noticed Mr Brown had cigarillos in his hand. Cigarillos had been stolen from a local convenience store. Wilson then called for backup & drove his vehicle in an angle to block the man pass and block the flow of traffic in both directions. There was then an altercation between officer Wilson sitting in his patrol car and Mr Brown standing at the window.
Some witnesses describe Mr Brown's hands in being raised in surrender, others said they were down or out to the side.
On November 24th 2014, after sitting through hours of testimony and reading through thousands of pages of documents, the Ferguson grand jury decided there wasnt enough probable cause to indict officer Darren Wilson, with the shooting of unarmed 18 year old, Michael Brown.
Young.B Mr.901 has shown his support for justice for Mike Brown with recent post he has shared through his Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter with his fans. 901 says he believes each man should stand for what he believes in. Whether black, white, hispanic, all lives of all races matter.There were accounts from 60 witnesses who contradicted officer Darren Wilson, who gave evidence over 25 days. The contridictions seem less reliable, as they changed over time or didn't tally with physical evidence from the scene & autopsy.
